Instead, we suggest you consider the Inn at 802 for your gathering. Whether you’re planning a family reunion for your extended clan, an alumni bash for your college or even high school, or even a gathering of your nearest and dearest former classmates during homecoming at the College of William and Mary, the Inn at 802 will provide your attendees with an event that’s far from the ordinary reunion. Rather than a cavernous banquet room, the Inn at 802 will provide your group with a comfortable, intimate-yet-spacious venue, in an historic setting far more gracious and memorable than the typical banquet hall. We can accommodate all your reunion needs, from reserving just our dining room for dinner and dessert, to booking the entire Inn for the day and an overnight stay in our guest rooms. In fact, should you wish to do the cooking for your event yourself, we have a fully equipped guest kitchen for you to use. From fixing snacks, dessert or even a full dinner for your attendees, you’ll find that our guest kitchen can accommodate your every need. Allow us to take you on a “tour” of your reunion: Your guests will meet and eat in an elegant dining room, at tables set with fine linens, silver and crystal. After eating, they may walk to our garden or just stay indoors in our sun room. If it’s evening, our private courtyard is lighted and, should the air carry a chill, we have a 48,000 BTU propane heater. As for you bedtime accommodations, rather than collapsing in a bland hotel room with paper-thin walls, teeny bars of soap and scratchy bath towels, you and your fellow reunion attendees instead may simply walk upstairs to one of our luxurious guest rooms for the ultimate in cozy luxury. From warm goose down comforters, thick, thirsty and soft bath towels to cable television with remote control. And each of our rooms has a private bath with tub and shower. Every room is furnished with a DVD player and we have a great selection of complimentary first-run movies for you to enjoy. Finally, either the day prior or after your reunion, you and your guests will be able to enjoy all that historic Williamsburg offers. From the living history of Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown, to the thrills of the amusement park rides at Busch Gardens, to 320-acre winery, Wessex Hundred. In fact, you needn’t venture far from the inn itself – we are located with an easy walk of Williamsburg’s historic area, shops, art galleries and restaurants for any budget and mood.
